WHY EKI GREEN?
Our Ceremonial matcha is made from the topmost tea plant's youngest leaves, which are hand-picked to ensure a better colour, taste, and nutritional profile. The stems and veins are removed, then the leaves are finely ground using traditional slow grinding stone which grind about 30gr of matcha per hour.
Whereas other grade matcha is made from older leaves, has a stronger, more astringent flavour, and is designed for mixing with other ingredients like milk in lattes or in recipes.
